Grants for Teens (and Teen Professionals)

JTEEN’s incentive for civic-minded teens who live or go to school in Greater MetroWest NJ to try a Jewish service-learning experience. Grants are $250 for programs under 14 days and up to $800 for programs 14 days and longer. Applications must be submitted 30 days prior to your trip departure. Applications are open. OneHappyCamperNJ

Get up to $1,000 for eligible new campers at 150+ Jewish overnight camps and teen programs across North America. Search teen programs popular with Greater MetroWest teens or get personal guidance on choosing the right program for you. Learn more

Passport to Israel

Dream Israel

Dream Israel is a new initiative helping to provide all Jewish teens with the life-changing opportunity to study abroad in Israel while also giving back to the Jewish State. In exchange for fundraising for a philanthropic cause in Israel, students in 10th, 11th or 12th grade can earn a grant of up to $7,500 towards their academic program with Alexander Muss, URJ Heller High, Ramah TRY, or USY High. Learn More

Jewish Vocational Services Loans and Grants

Deadline to apply is Monday, June 3, 2024.

  • Perlmutter Student Loans (entering college): These need-based, interest-free loans of up to $3,000 are available to Jewish college students from the MetroWest area who need financial assistance in order to pursue their full-time college education or graduate program. Click here to learn more
  • Shapiro Foundation Grants (post graduate): These one-year grants are available to help Jewish students pursue post-graduate degrees in medicine, medical science, graduate nursing, and/or rabbinical school. Funded by the Estate of Belle Shapiro, these grants may be renewed each year, pending the approval of the executors of the estate. Click here to learn more

Leo A. Siegel – Dr. Philip Shapiro Education Grant  (Entering College)

The New Jersey Department of the Jewish War Veterans of the United States of America awards educational grants to graduating high school seniors who are direct descendants of Jewish War Veterans. Collaboration Grants for Teen Professionals

Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ aims to support the growth of collaborative and innovative teen experiences across the region. Community Building Grants for Teen Professionals

Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ aims to support the growth of community building teen experiences across the region.
