We echo the call of the Jewish community and engage in public discourse to amplify our voice.

The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) is the advocacy and public affairs arm of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. Our mission is to mobilize the Jewish community on national, state and local issues to ensure that our community’s interests are addressed.

By forging relationships with our elected representatives, educating and engaging our community, and building coalitions with other political and faith-based groups, we make sure that our voice is heard on issues which are central to our values as Jews and Americans.

Interfaith Leaders Visited A Local Hindu Temple

On Monday evening the Interfaith Leaders Against Hate and Antisemitism continued the Be a Good Guest program, which brings together a diverse group of Greater MetroWest clergy, their congregants and Federation members to foster interfaith connections, enhance understanding, and strengthen allyship. More than 50 people gathered at The Sri Venkateswara Temple in Bridgewater—one of the prominent Hindu temples in the U.S.—to learn about the pluralistic faith, take a guided tour, and even participate in an evening ritual. Attendees from the Jewish, Hindu, Latter-Day Saint, Catholic, Presbyterian, Baptist, and Unitarian faiths then shared a traditional meal, strengthening their bonds as they enjoyed dosas and mango lassis.
