FIGHT HUNGER TODAY!


Let All Who Are Hungry Come and Eat -
Greater MetroWest’s Fight Hunger Campaign

Throughout March


Last year, our local kosher food pantries helped to feed 12,320 men, women, and children. Hunger is not just found in Third World countries — more and more it’s found in communities just like ours.
Jewish tradition mandates that we act on behalf of the most vulnerable among us in following the example of God, “who brings justice to the oppressed and provides food for the hungry” (Psalms 146:7).

It is our collective responsibility to help those in need. This is why Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ is launching FIGHT HUNGER. A month-long campaign throughout March, FIGHT HUNGER is dedicated to both RAISING AWARENESS about the issue of hunger and TAKING ACTION to help those who are hungry in Greater MetroWest and around the world, especially in the Former Soviet Union and Ukraine.

FIGHT HUNGER today. Here’s what YOU and YOUR FAMILY can do:

Help restock the Bobrow Kosher Food Pantry at Oheb Shalom Congregation in South Orange, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ Kosher Food Pantry in Elizabeth, and the Jewish Relief Agency MetroWest NJ in Morristown. Bring items on the lists to one of our participating events and agencies.
